Selena Gomez’s Revival: New Album Debuts at No.1 on Billboard
Selena Gomez has had a tough couple of years lately and that has only made her stronger. Her latest album, ‘Revival’ is a commemoration of her growth both as an individual and as an artist. Her music has matured and it feels like she has finally found her voice.
Here, we have ranked all the tracks off Selena’s second solo album.
A little bit of ‘Stars Dance sound in this one. This is our least favourite song in this album but that isn’t to say that it’s a bad song. Gomez pulls it off against the backing dance beat. Look out for the bridge.
Me and My Girls
Instantly catchy, this is a feminist anthem. Selena’s feisty vocals deliver. This one is jam-packed with relatable quotes.
Call it another ‘Who Says’ and you might just hit the nail. This is the inspirational click of the album. “Like the air, you can rise.
Outta My Hands (Loco)
Selena’s voice in this track is oh-so-lovable!
This one’s probably dedicated all her loyal fans. This one’s an anthem that’ll get you hooked by the first listen.
Kill ‘Em With Kindness
A song for the haters, but with a twist. You’ll get hooked to the whistle.
This song has been called cheesy for its lyrics but hell, this is a real good song. This is the perfect opening track of the album and Selena’s opening words set the mood.
No kiss, no lips, no feel, no rush can keep me high, I swear no one can love me like you do.” This ballad stays with you.
We’re so glad for this bonus track that we don’t even mind the cheese.
“I can taste her lipstick, it’s like I’m kissing her too.”
The piano compliments Selena’s voice too well. On the other hand, this song will break your heart.
Me & The Rhythm
This is probably the catchiest song in the whole album. We’ve been stuck ever since it was released.
Same Old Love
This song is already climbing its way up the charts. The lyrics are too relatable and we’ve all been there.
Good For You (ft. A$AP Rocky)
We personally preferred the slower, solo version of the song. This one’s one of Selena’s best songs ever.
Too relatable, yet again. This one’s a gem.
Selena doesn’t get better than this. (As of now)
