The myth originated from the gentlemen rule, to place the liquor glass after cheers followed by a sip. But, Indian guys love raw action.

Young guys from the Indian streets say that lighting 3 cigarettes with 1 matchstick brings bad luck. Also, the local Indian saying states “3 Teegadey-Kaam-Bigaadey”.
Making Cigarette pack lucky
Sounds strange, yet interesting! One can make his pack of cigarette lucky, by turning one fag upside down, out of the total number.
The core smokers in India believe that by making one cigarette upside down, brings good fortune until the last cigarette. If other person picks the turndown cigarette, he/she owes a party to the pack owner or serve a misfortune.
Never smoke used bud
Smokers feel reluctant when they have the urge of cigarette. In the absence of crowd, they may even light a dumped bud. This is a bad omen amongst smokers. A thrown bud/filter brings negative vibes of the person, who just smoked it.

Eating pre-eaten food is regarded bad. The same rule goes with whiskey, beer and wine. We know sharing is caring, but still drinking leftover liquor is out of the gentlemen rule. According to the regular drinkers, the consumption of left over drink increases the risk to puke.
